Biography
Tatyana Zinger, DO, is a Deputy Medical Examiner at the District of Columbia’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, a Clinical Assistant Professor at George Washington University, and serves as Assistant Program Director of GW’s Forensic Pathology fellowship program as well as Program Director of medical student and resident rotations at the DC OCME. She completed an Anatomic Pathology fellowship at New York University Langone School of Medicine, and Forensic Pathology fellowship at George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. She is board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Forensic Pathology.
Clinical Expertise
Dr. Zinger’s focus is in the area of autopsy and forensic pathology, having performed over 900 postmortem examinations as of the date of this entry at the end of 2023. She also serves as Assistant Program Director of GW’s Forensic Pathology fellowship and Program Director of medical student and resident rotations at the DC OCME. She serves on Washington D.C.’s Maternal Mortality Review Committee.Research
Dr. Zinger’s research interest is centered on anatomic pathology, clinical testing, and forensic pathology, and she has presented at conferences such as NAME and USCAP.
