Biography

After graduating residency in Internal Medicine, Dr. Dominguez completed a health policy fellowship at GW, where he worked for the Healthcare Subcommittee of Energy and Commerce, for the US House of Representatives. While there he developed expertise in drug pricing and development, health insurance models, medical coding and CMS regulations.

Upon completion, he was hired by GW to co-direct a medical school course on the US healthcare system, where he lectures on workforce, healthcare financing, insurance, the upstream determinants of health, and healthcare economics. He is supports GW's satellite primary care clinics as its informatics and innovative care lead. Clinically, he practices internal medicine in the form of primary care, urgent care, and hospital medicine.

He has published and presented widely on topics including internal medicine, telehealth, healthcare utilization, drug research & development, and healthcare reform.
