Biography
Katriona Buhler (she, her, hers) is an adjunct Professor of Occupational Therapy in the Department of Health, Human Function, and Rehabilitation Sciences at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She received her OTD from Washington University in St. Louis, MO and her BS in psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. She went on to complete the Evelyn J. Mackin hand therapy fellowship at The Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her current clinical practice centers on rehabilitation of both the pediatric and adult hand while her previous experience was in general pediatrics and trauma. She is a certified hand therapist (CHT), certified lymphedema therapist (CLT), and certified ergonomics assessment specialist (CEAS).
Dr. Buhler previously taught in both the Master's and COTA Occupational Therapy programs at Trinity Washington University.
