Biography
Garrett Butler has been an adjunct instructor in the undergraduate writing courses at George Washington University since 2009. Mr. Butler creates curriculum, updates curriculum, teaches and also mentors new faculty in the undergraduate Health Sciences writing course offerings. He has taught all undergraduate Health Sciences writing course currently offered at some time. Mr. Butler also works at the Montgomery College Writing Center as a part time writing tutor and has also taught their in-class first year undergraduate English composition class part time at their Rockville campus. Mr. Butler is a writer by profession, and has published in a literary journal and is currently working on works of fiction and creative non-fiction. Mr. Butler earned his Master of Fine Arts from The New School in New York City and Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing at Hamilton College in upstate New York.
