Biography
A graduate of George Washington University, Dr. Khin Khin received her medical degree from University of Virginia School of Medicine. She completed her internship and psychiatry residency at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, where she served as Chief Resident. Following residency, Dr. Khin Khin completed a fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry at Georgetown University Hospital. She is board certified in Psychiatry.
Dr. Khin Khin’s clinical interests include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and women's mental health. In addition to providing comprehensive psychotherapeutic services to the mentally ill in an out-patient setting, Dr. Khin Khin performs evaluations and provides expert witness testimony for various forensic issues such as civil commitment, civil competency, malpractice, criminal competency, criminal responsibility, violence risk assessment, psychiatric disability, fitness for duty, and workman's compensation.
