Biography
Allison B. Colby, MAPS, PA-C, CDCES is thrilled to join the GW PA Program as Assistant Professor. She will be serving on the Clinical Team as Clerkship Director for the emergency, women’s health and elective clerkships. Prior to becoming a faculty member, Allison has enjoyed precepting PA students at her clinical site, a community health center in Manassas, Virginia.
Her clinical background has been focused in Primary Care, with a special interest in diabetes education and women’s health. She is also a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist and advocates for increased emphasis on preventive care and patient education. Fueled by her hands-on experience, working in a variety of Free and Community clinics, Allison has a passion for improving access to quality healthcare for all.
In her free time, Allison enjoys outdoor activities, live music, reading, running and spending time with her husband and three children.
